Well it has been a couple of weeks since I have posted on here and that is because I managed to squeeze a few days away skiing. Xmas has been busy so it was time for a few days relaxation. Flying from Luton on Wednesday morning and returning on Sunday we (my family and 1 boyfriend and 1 girlfriend, 7 in all) went to Slovakia and the skiing resort of Janska. The snow was pretty good and was improved on Friday after we had had a snow fall over night. The resort had a pretty good range of slopes for all abilities although a couple of the high black slopes were closed because of the lack of visibility. However a sking trip isn’t a proper skiing trip unless someone break something and my son truly obliged! He broke his leg not on the ski slope but walking to a bar in the early evening (before he was drunk) he is currently residing in Barnskey Hospital awaiting an operation to repair the damage.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as Oxygen and Hydrogen, for example, there would be no way to make water a vital ingredient in beer.
